Yet another negative impact of the : It is now reported that there has been a spike in attacks against police officers by soldiers and marines returning from the war. The really scary thing is that these are not “fight to escape” incidents, they are “stand and fight” incidents. It is sad, actually, since we always feel a brotherhood with military personnel. I guess PTSD is the culprit. In any case, several precinct partners have said this is on the upswing. How tragic to have soldiers fighting with cops in the streets of America. Truly tragic.
