Right now there’s no ultimate ‘magic pill’ to help you end your stuttering. The trick is in finding the most appropriate one that will work for your unique case.
Talk to your close friends and family about what you’re attempting to do, to stop stuttering. Of course, you need positive reinforcement to prevail over the stutter so you will have to distance yourself from individuals who might say hurtful words against your efforts.

I endured abuse as a child. I’m sure most people today have some scars from some sort of dysfunction in their early family life. My purpose here is not to tell horror stories, but I will tell you about how it has affected my life.
My father has always been an alcoholic. Rather than being angry with him, I felt a bit sorry for him. He is a good father to the extent that he can be. He taught us some good values. But, his addiction and relative lack of social skills led him to be distant, unreliable and angry.

What does it mean to have more? Exactly, what do you want more of? Do you even know? This question forces you to schedule a short date with yourself, for the purpose of exploring what really matters to you and what you are willing to do about it.
The Irish political activist Bernadette Davis reminds us, “To gain that which is worth having, it may be necessary to lose everything else.” I know this takes unbounded courage and strength. Just remember, life is short. Live it your way. If you could create your life the way you want it, actually live by your standards, exactly what would you want more of? How about starting with some of the essential basics?

In my daily life I can see many people seeking to gain self confidence. Unfortunately by observing them, I feel that most will not achieve what they want. It doesn’t matter how much effort they put in, what books they read, what strategy they use, or which expert they learned it from.
This is because a lot of people have a misconception about gaining self confidence. To them, it’s you either have confidence or you don’t. They keep seeking for it with the expectation that one day they will finally ‘get’ that unstoppable confidence.
